Rules for Promotion

Students must show proper respect for their school, instructor, and fellow students at all times.
Students must attend the minimum number of classes to qualify for the test.
Students may not make their own decision about taking the test.
Students qualified to test must be recommended by a Black Belt instructor to take the test.
All students will be awarded their rank certificate by an official of Ron Little Martial Arts.
If a student is unable to complete the test requirements he/she may retest at the next make-up test.
Students must pay test fees or, in special cases, make arrangements with the business office in advance.
Students must be dressed in a clean, regulation uniform with the correct color belt.
Students should allow extra time to warm up before a test.
Courtesy to other students testing includes being quite and attentive. Enthusiastic, positive encouragement is permitted from students during the sparring portion of the testing.
Spectators are welcome at testing, but they must be quiet and non-interruptive.
