Training Schedules

Congratulations on your decision to study the Martial Arts. This may prove to be one of the most important decisions you will ever make. Aside from self-defense, the Martial Arts can enhance every aspect of your life.

I am very interested in your training. If you should have any questions about your progress, feel free to talk to me during class hours or make an appointment as the situation warrants.

It is important that you write down a schedule of two days a week for classroom training. Then pick two days that you can practice what you have learned for fifteen to thirty minutes. These will be your personal training sessions. It is vital that you keep this schedule. Set a goal of Black Belt, outline the steps, and don't let anything stop you from achieving your goal.

It is said that "you cannot save time... you can only spend it...so you must choose to spend it wisely. The way we spend our time determines the course of our lives".

On the following pages is an outline that you can use to track your progress. Set a schedule and a target date for your next belt. Should something keep you from making a class make it up so that you can stay on schedule. Should you find that you have fallen behind on your schedule don't give up, talk to your instructor, he can help you get back on track. Train hard and may the power of the Martial Arts be with you always.
