A Little History
Ron Little Martial Arts first began teaching at Health
Beat, a local fitness center, in 1991. We had a group
of about ten people interested in an alternative fitness
and exercise program that emphasized techniques which
could be used as a means of practical self-defense.
As interest grew, the studio moved to a separate location
at 3900 Creighton Road. During its first year, it expanded
to a satellite location at the Blue Angel Early Learning
Center.
After only three years, over one hundred and fifty
students were enrolled. Once again, in order to meet
the growing needs of its students and community, Ron
Little Martial Arts moved the studio on Creighton Road
to a new location at the Tradewinds Shopping Center
on Burgess Road.
Our school continued to grow and before long, the Burgess
Road location simply could not contain our classes.
Ron Little Martial Arts moved once again, into its present
location on Palafox Street. The new school has over
five thousand square feet of training area alone. In
addition to that there are office space for Master Little,
an office for the Leadership Team, a weight room, and
a pro-shop.
Ron Little Martial Arts continues to grow. We kicked
off cardio-karate and kickboxing programs in 1998. Our
Blue Angel Parkway school continues to prosper. Another
big event occured when we recently formed partnerships
with a number of other local martial arts schools to
found the American Martial Arts Association.

Our students train hard to prepare for real life self-defense
situations.
